Review of Der WaldstrasseDuring our recent family vacation at Der Waldstrasse, we found it to be a comfortable and well-located choice for our adventures around Darmstadt and Aschaffenburg. As an adventure travel blogger, I appreciate venues that cater to families, and this hotel does just that. Our spacious room was equipped with everything we needed for a relaxed stay. We particularly enjoyed the nearby golf courses, a fun activity for the entire family. While waiting for someone at the reception could take a few minutes, the staff was generally kind and accommodating, making for a welcoming atmosphere. Breakfast, which is an additional fee, was provided fresh each morning, featuring local bread and a decent variety of options. While the espresso machine could enhance the experience, we were satisfied with the service overall. It was a straightforward and enjoyable experience for us, including our young children, as they catered to families well, granting free stays for kids under four. In summary, if you're searching for a family-friendly base in the heart of beautiful surroundings, Der Waldstrasse is a solid choice, blending comfort with practicality for your adventures.
